I appreciate you for taking the time to express your concerns, Tory.

Let me provide information to fix the closed invoice so you can reconcile your bank account and match your invoice in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To start with, I recommend reviewing your closed invoice to confirm that it matches the payment that was deposited and ensure it matches the deposit you made into your non-QB account. Also, check the payment details to confirm that they accurately match the deposit made into your non-QB account. To verify this, follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Go to the left navigation panel and select Sales.
  2. In the Sales interface, choose Invoice.
  3. Find the closed invoice that matches the payment deposit into your non-QB account
  4. Verify the payment details.

Once you've located the closed invoice, you can reopen it so you can proceed to reconcile it with the deposit in your non-QB account.

In addition, I recommend checking the deposits if it's correct and accurately reflect the deposit in your bank statement and verify the invoice if it's now open and the payment is correctly applied.

I'll also add these articles to help you review your beginning balances and fix issues for accounts you've reconciled in the past:
