QBAR - Job Profitability Summary, Exclude jobs that are not invoiced.

I am using QuickBooks Advanced report writer, and using a slightly modified version of the starter report for Job Profitability Summary. I am trying to get the included pivot table to exclude any customers who have not been invoiced yet. The only modifications I have made is a list box for Job Status, and added an expression for Job Profit Margin as a percentage (Diff/Actual Revenue).

 

Long story short I am trying to exclude customers/jobs who have not been invoiced. Again this is the starter report for Job Profitability Summary 🙂 

 

If this can be achieved via a list box filter that's fine too, expressions make my brain hurt haha.

This is for Quickbooks Advanced Report writer, for enterprise desktop. Not the built in quickbooks reports.

With QuickBooks Advanced Reporting, you can customize all aspects of your reports available in your company file. Here are some tips to keep you going:

 

  • You can use the starter reports that resemble existing reports.
  • The Library has common customization tools like table, chart, text & utility, etc.
  • In the Library, you can select any list box to add to your report. This helps filter the information you’ll use.
  • Right-click on any object you want to customize, then select Properties. This gives you the information you need in the right format.

  1. In your QBDT account, go to Help and select QuickBooks Help/Contact Us.
  2. Choose Contact Us and enter a brief description of your issue. Then, Continue.
  3. Sign in to your Intuit account, choose Continue, and then Continue with my account.
  4. We'll email you a single-use code. Enter your code and select Continue.
  5. Then, select to Chat with us or Have us call you.

 

Once everything looks good, you can start reviewing your accounts to ensure they always match your bank and credit card statements: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Desktop.
