Question

QBO payments from customers are no longer being posted as a deposit on QB. The program is asking me to manually create a deposit of customer QB payments. How to fix?

This has not happened before.  Not sure what happened to trigger this problem.

If your QuickBooks Payments are connected to QuickBooks Online, the bank deposit automatically records for you.

 

Since you no longer have a deposit posted on your end. I recommend contacting QuickBooks Merchant Service. They're the best support group for such inquiries, as they can request account information.

 

Here's how to contact them:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click the Help.
  3. Select Contact Us.
  4. Type your concern, then click the Let's talk.
  5. Choose a way to connect with us either Ask the community to get help from businesses like yours or Start a chat with us.

 

Additionally, it's important to regularly reconcile your bank accounts to maintain accurate financial records, detecting errors and discrepancies.
