I'm sending the payment receipt email to the customer, and I need to be able to edit the email content, but I'm not able to , please advise

I know how beneficial being able to change the default email template for payment receipts. I can share some clarification about this feature in QuickBooks Online (QBO), shadeo.

 

The email template for payment receipt is a default setup in QuickBooks Online (QBO). The option to change the default email for customer payments is currently unavailable. We have to manually edit its body message before sending it to your customers. Let me guide you on how: 

 

  1. Go to the Plus icon.
  2. Select Receive Payments.
  3. On the receive payment window, Select the Customer and the Invoice.
  4. Click Save and send.
  5. Then, update the Body of the email. Click Send and close.
