I'd be glad to share insights about transferring banking from one company file to another in QuickBooks Desktop. 

For now, the option to directly move your bank transactions from your company file to another is unavailable in the program. However, you can manually import your transactions as a QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) file in your company. Here are the steps:

1. Open a web browser and go to your bank’s website.
2. Sign into your bank account using your normal process.
3. Download your transactions as a QuickBooks Web Connect (.qbo) file.
4. Once you have the Web Connect file, open your company file then go to the Banking page.
5. Select Bank Feeds, then Import Web Connect Files.
6. Choose the .QBO file you saved and select Open.
7. When asked to select your bank account:
   • Use a QuickBooks account that exists if the account you're importing transactions into is already set up in QuickBooks.
   • Create a new QuickBooks account if the account you're importing transactions into isn't in QuickBooks yet. 
8. Click Continue. You'll see a dialog box telling you that the data has been successfully read into QuickBooks. Select OK.
9. Go to the Bank Feeds Center to review your transactions.

Once your transactions are in, you'll have to add or match them in QuickBooks Desktop. This way, they will be posted to your bank's register. 

With regards to the incorrect bank account in your other company file, you can deactivate the account to hide it from your Chart of accounts and transaction forms.
