Hello there, Love. Let's work together to fix this Excel file issue so you can download data from QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) accordingly.

We'll start by updating your version of QuickBooks, and ensure your Microsoft Office meets the platform's system requirements (202120222023).

If your version of Microsoft Office isn't compatible, you'll need to upgrade. If it is, repair Microsoft Office. Then, go back to QuickBooks to download your Excel files.

If this matter persists, continue troubleshooting starting Step 4 in this article: Fix export to Excel issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

Additionally, I've included this article to assist you in customizing any report you generate from QBDT: Modify reports in QuickBooks Desktop.

The Community always has your back, so please let us know if you have any other concerns about exporting files from QuickBooks. I'll be more than happy to help you out.
