Hello,

Have you checked the Audit Log?  What does it say?  Are you creating a new transaction each time or accidentally overwriting the same transaction?

I would check the audit log first to see what it reveals.  Gear Icon/Tools/Audit Log

Hello there, @lbaa.

Allow me to join this thread and share some more details about your transaction issue.

I agree with MJA66-87. You can run through the Audit Log. It's a report of all activities on your company file.

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Under Tools, select Audit Log.

Make sure to verify what happened to the transaction. In case it was deleted, you can recreate them.

Let me know if you have additional questions. I'm still here to help you more. Have a good day ahead!

I copied an existing invoice made changes to the new invoice and whet to save the new invoice and the "saving" (spinning wheel) process didn't stop for 10 minutes.  Tried to open a new QBO session to see if the transaction had saved and the "refresh" was hung up, but the system wouldn't let me log in.  Had to close entire Chrome browser sessions.  Reopened and created new invoice from scratch.  Went to save and the same thing has happened.  It's hung up.  Open another QBO session to check audit log and nothing shows up reflecting a "copy" was made NOR the newly created invoice.  This happened last week and I just thought it was a "quirk", but now it's interrupting work flow which means "down time" which translates into lost revenue!   This already frustrated QBO customer is really not a happy camper now.
