I can share some fixes regarding photo scans in QuickBooks Self-Employed, wfaison27.

In the meantime, let's ensure that your mobile app is syncing correctly with the latest data from your computer. After that, refresh the app to resolve any issues. You can follow the steps below based on your phone's operating system.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Menu icon and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Select Refresh Data.
  3. Tap Refresh to confirm.

Afterward, follow these steps:

  1. From your phone's settings, choose Apps.
  2. Select the QuickBooks app from the list and click Storage.
  3. From there, tap Clear Data.

If issues persist, it's best to restart your phone or re-install the QBSE app.

I did not see a "Refresh Data" button in the app. However,  I was able to clear the app data and cache. It seems to be working now and my last reciept was able to scan. Thanks,
