Receipts forwarding not showing up in QB and not bouncing back to email

Does it take 24 hours or more for receipts to show up in QB?  Do you get a bounce back email if they do not show up? I understand there is a 100 per day limit and I am within that.  Overall not impressed with this receipt feature- seems to be a delay in updating with changes that I have reviewed.

I recognize the urgency of timely receipt delivery to your clients in QuickBooks Online, @WineCPA1. Allow me to provide the necessary information to address this concern effectively.

Forwarding email receipts can be a quick and straightforward process that typically only takes a few minutes. However, the timeframe may vary depending on the volume of receipts you are forwarding.

To your next concern, there won't be a bounce-back notification if your forwarded email receipt fails. Before forwarding your email receipt, it's essential to ensure that you comply with all requirements, such as adhering to the acceptable file type and file size.

  • The photo's file type must be a pdf, jpeg, jpg, gif, or png.
  • The email attachment's file size must be between 46KB to 20 MB.
