Question

Recent update to invoices no longer incorporates date derived from delayed charges. Anyone know how to fix? Help person terminated session when I refused remote access.

On the other hand, if you're referring to the charge date, it's important to note that when you convert a delayed charge into an invoice, only the service date will be carried over to the invoice. Alternatively, if you're referring to the Service Date not carrying over, I recommend we perform a few basic troubleshooting steps to determine if this is a browser-related issue.

You can start by accessing your account using an incognito or private browsing window. Occasionally, problems can arise from browser issues such as a full cache or outdated files. An incognito or private window provides a fresh browsing experience, as it doesn't retain cookies, history, or cached data from previous sessions.

 

Please use the following keyboard shortcuts specific to your browser type:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

 

If the private browsing session works without issues, the next step is to clear your browser's cache to reset the system. This action refreshes the browser and helps resolve any lingering problems. Additionally, Invoice date will be determined based on when you recorded the transaction in your accounting system. This means that while the service date remains consistent with when the service occurred, the invoice date may differ depending on your accounting practices and when you issue the invoice.

This is third attempt to reply. I have been entering the date in the delayed charges field for years (I've been a customer for nearly a decade). The new update is the first time that the delayed charge date did not populate to an invoice.  I can see from my old transactions that this is true.

Is there a way to have the delayed charge date populate to the invoice? If not, is there a way for the delayed charge date to auto populate to the service date?

If you're referring to your transaction's charge date, you'll want to be aware only service dates are brought over when delayed charges are converted into invoices.

 

In the event you're referring to your service dates not carrying over, and you've already performed each of the recommended troubleshooting processes in Erika_K's post with no resolution, you'll want to continue getting in touch with our Customer Care team.
