Recurring invoice option does not show up under the new invoicing interface.

Hello, gruvii!

 

Yes, you're right that the recurring invoice feature is not available in the new invoicing layout. However, we're working on adding it as we make improvements to the new interface. If you want to switch back to the old layout because of this, please follow the steps below.

 

  1. Select + New.
  2. Choose Invoice.
  3. At the top right of the form, select Old layout.

Thirteen months later and we still can't make an existing invoice created with the new layout be a recurring transaction! The Help page titled Create recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online says I will be able to, and yet I'm not... Once again I must ask, why do I pay Intuit?

I recognize your sentiments about not being able to create recurring invoices with the new layout. Please know that our product engineers are creating improvements to the new interface in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

While this feature isn't available, I suggest submitting feedback directly to our product engineers. They may look into this suggestion further and consider adding the option in QBO. To submit feedback, you can go to the Gear icon and select Feedback. Then, enter your suggestion and click Submit Feedback.
