Recurring Invoices did not get sent. Are only showing as "open". Why didn't they go? How do I fix?

Recurring invoices don't have any specific time of the day in sending them to your customers. Based on other customers with the same concern, usually, they're created and sent every morning on the day it was scheduled.

 

Given the present situation where the message was not delivered, and it shows open, it would be advisable to perform a basic troubleshooting exercise to identify the issue and resolve it.

 

To troubleshoot your issue, let's log in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser session. This will help us isolate the problem.

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

 

If this works, you can clear your regular browser's cache so the system can start fresh. But if you get the same results while using a private browser, use a supported browser instead.
