report of customer invoices that lists their PO# as well
Is there a report available in QB that would give the customer po# along with the invoice#?
In QuickBooks Desktop, you can run a custom Transaction List by Customer report for this situation. I'll walk you through the process.
Before we proceed, I believe you're referring to sales orders instead of purchase orders. Follow these steps to run the report I stated above:
- Go to the Reports tab.
- Highlight Customers & Receivables, then select Transaction List by Customer.
- Click Customize Report.
- Move to the Filters tab.
- Search for TransactionType.
- From the drop-down menu, choose Multiple Transaction Types.
- Tick Invoice and Sales Order.
- Hit OK, then OK again.
