Is there a report available in QB that would give the customer po# along with the invoice#?

In QuickBooks Desktop, you can run a custom Transaction List by Customer report for this situation. I'll walk you through the process.

Before we proceed, I believe you're referring to sales orders instead of purchase orders. Follow these steps to run the report I stated above:

  1. Go to the Reports tab.
  2. Highlight Customers & Receivables, then select Transaction List by Customer.
  3. Click Customize Report.
  4. Move to the Filters tab.
  5. Search for TransactionType.
  6. From the drop-down menu, choose Multiple Transaction Types.
  7. Tick Invoice and Sales Order.
  8. Hit OK, then OK again.

At this point, you can change the date range of the report if necessary. Feel free to check out this article for more information: Customize reports in QuickBooks Desktop

If you need to have QBDT save your custom reports, see this article for the steps: Create, access, and modify memorized reports.
