Reports pulling the information but not exporting correctly

Hello,

Recently I ran into a problem. I ran a Trial Balance from 01/01/19 through 07/31/20. In QB the report pulled all information. Once exported the only information in excel was from 01/01/20 through 07/31/20. QB would not export all of the information. I have ran multiple reports and this continues to happen. I am wondering if anyone else has ran into this issue.

Thanks!

Let's get this working, @Lauren_1

It's good to hear that the Trial Balance report is displaying all of the information in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

Here are the possible factors why the exported information isn't complete from 01/01/19 through 07/31/20 in Excel:

  • Your version of Microsoft Office or Excel isn't compatible.
  • You're using an unsupported web version of Microsoft Office 365.

First, let's check the system requirements for your version of Microsoft Office or Excel.

If your version of Microsoft Office or Excel isn't compatible, you'll need to upgrade it. If it's supported, let's repair it by going to this article's Step 3Fix Report To Excel Issues.

Second, if you're using Office 365, use the version installed on your computer locally.

Once done, you can export the report again using the correct dates.

Aside from Trial Balance, I recommend running other reports in the program. Then, customize them to get the specific details you need about your business.

I'm here anytime you have other concerns. Stay safe always.
