Reports using desktop version only

Is there a report, using Quickbooks Desktop version, that we can run which will show all items sold for a particular time frame and have this report  display the item price, cost, and qty sold?

Yes, you can run a Sales by Item Summary report in QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT)This report shows each item or service you have sold, the total dollar sales, and the profitability of each product or service. 

 

To generate the report, here's how:

 

  1. Head to Reports.
  2. Click Sales.
  3. Select Sales by Item Summary Report.

We are currently using a POS system and i am not able to see the COGS information on the report.  Please see attached screenshot.

In QuickBooks, COGS is only tracked for inventory items and sales reports will only include it for same.
