Search Purchase Orders by Description
Hello,
Is there a way to do a quick report for all purchase orders by purchase order description?
There is no column to add in reports that pulls up this field.

Hi, @bbutler1.
You can create a custom report of your purchase orders, then add the Memo column to look for them by descriptions. I can help on how.
- Open your QuickBooks Desktop file, then head over to the Reports tab.
- Select Transaction Detail from Custom Reports.
- Add the Memo column under Display, then switch to the Filters tab.
- Set the Posting Status to Either and the Transaction Type to Purchase Order.
- Hit OK.
- Set the Dates correctly, then click Refresh.
The PO descriptions are added under the Memo column.
