QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus 2024

When I clock on send report to excel - first 3 options are unavailable.  They are greyed out.

I have always had this function before.

How do I get it back?

Thank you

Let's ensure that your QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Pro Plus 2024 is compatible with Microsoft Excel for effective report exporting. I can guide you through this process.

Before exporting your report, ensure Microsoft Excel is installed on your computer. Then, verify if your Excel is compatible with QBDT 2024 and restart your computer to fix the integration between QuickBooks and Excel.

If you still can't export the reports to Excel, let's adjust your Windows User Account Controls (UAC) to reset any settings that prevent the export feature.

Here's how:

  1. Open the Windows Start menu. Type User Account Control Settings into the search and open User Account Control Settings.
  2. Select and move the slider to Never Notify. Then select OK.
  3. Restart your computer.

If issues persist, please proceed to steps 5 and 6: Fix export to Excel issues in QuickBooks Desktop.

In case you need to generate your reports into Excel-based payroll reports, you can refer to this article: Export reports as Excel workbooks in QuickBooks Desktop.
