Sending invoices to text messages

I am not able to have option to send  invoices via text messages any more, why?

I know an explanation as to why sending an invoice via text is unavailable on your end, Melinda.

 

Before we proceed, may I know if you're using QuickBooks Online (QBO) or the QuickBooks Online Mobile app? This information will allow us to offer a solution that suits your concern.

 

If you're using QBO and the Share link within the Review and Send dropdown on your invoice entry is unavailable, this can be due to a stored cache file. To troubleshoot this, we can use other supported web browsers or a private browser to eliminate any issues caused by browsing history or cache files. Here are the shortcut keys for accessing private browsers:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

 

On the other hand, if you're using your QuickBooks Mobile app, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to refresh the data. Please know that this process is the same as clearing the cache from your web browser.

 

If you're using an iOS, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Go to Menu ☰ and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Tap Refresh Data.
  3. Click Refresh to confirm.
