Shopify orders are not getting recorded into the books but, I can see the orders in the commerce view. Why are the orders not getting recorded into the books?

 Hello, rthankavelu. I can explain why Shopify orders appear in the commerce view but not in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
 

Please know that QuickBooks depends on the accuracy of the data provided by Shopify. Also, changes made to orders in Shopify won't automatically reflect in QBO. You'll have to manually update the changes in both platforms to keep your records accurate. Check out the possible reasons why transactions may not appear in QBO below.

1. Postponed Syncing: This delay can influence integration settings and current network conditions.
2. Syncing Issues: Errors can pop up during synchronization, leading to discrepancies in both platforms. 
3. Filtering or Date Range Settings: Ensure the date ranges and filters are identical in Shopify and QBO. If they don't match, transactions may not show up.
4. Integration Settings: Ensure the integration settings between the two platforms including sales, taxes, and fees, are set up correctly.

If none of these issues apply, consider opening your account using an incognito window since this doesn't store local files or cache. Below are the shortcuts you can use:

• Firefox or Microsoft Edge: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
• Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
• Safari: Press Command + Shift + N

If it works, clear your regular browser's cache or use another supported browser.

If the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting Shopify's customer support to investigate further what's preventing the orders from showing in QBO.
