Since the update in the fall on the Android QuickBooks online app when you click on the invoice and then click on a customer information the phone number isn't listed.

When I need to contact the customer occasionally I have to look at my invoice to remember the location and name I used to be able to click on the customer's name from the invoice and it would open up an edit screen with the customer information and even icon to call or email the customer.

Now when you click on the customer from an invoice, the phone number is not present.

Yes I can back out of the invoice go on customer section find the customer open it up and then I have the phone number but why should I have to go through these extra steps that I didn't use to have to do before? It seems like a small thing but it's annoying it used to work fine.

I understand the phone number isn't listed when you open the invoice and click on customer information, solocalwildlife. 

 

It seems that you're using the new layout in your QuickBooks Online app. Please know that when you create an invoice, the phone number will appear; when you save it, the number won't be visible. 

 

 

I understand how time-consuming it is to go back out every time to find the customer and look up the phone number information. That said, I recommend sending feedback to our product development team. They'll carefully review your idea and may consider it for future updates. 

 

 To submit feature requests using your QuickBooks mobile app:

 

For Android devices:

 

  1. Select the Menu button, then tap the Gear icon.
  2. Click on the vertical ellipsis in the upper-right corner.
  3. Choose Feedback, then type in your product suggestions.
  4. Hit Send Feedback.

Thanks keep in mind this is on the app not on the computer online.

 

I don't care if I can see the customer's phone number on an invoice I'm just saying when I click on customer information from an invoice in the app I see their name address email but not the phone number.

 

If I go to customer and look them up in the customer area it shows me little icons to call them, email them or edit the information.

 

In the past this was a quick shortcut to go to the invoice I need and then click on the customer and I could call them but now I have to back out find the customer and look up the information.

 

I just checked and it doesn't matter if it's old invoice or new invoice or default version or customized version in the app it takes you to a different customer information point than it used to. 

 

It's not some error I've reinstalled the app probably 15 times since October including twice yesterday. It's simply a broken or missing shortcut or redirect that has changed during the update and it's annoying.
