Since the update the description associated with my part numbers does not show up.

The description doesn't show up when I start typing in the part number so I don't know what part number to select.

    It can be challenging when you can't see the product/service description when creating invoices in your QuickBooks Online, davey2. I'm here to help you fix this.

     

    We've received similar reports about the Product/Service Descriptions missing when creating invoices. To troubleshoot, you can access your QuickBooks account through a private browsing window to see if it is a browser-related issue. You can use the following shortcut keys to access incognito mode:

     

    • Safari: Control + Option + P
    • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
    • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

     

    If this works, clear the browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result, I recommend switching to a different supported browser.

     

    However, if the issue persists, I suggest contacting our support team to have your name added to the affected users and receive emails with updates on the case.

     

    Here's how:

     

    1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account.
    2. Click (?) Help.
    3. Select Contact Us and choose a way to connect with us:
    • Start a chat with a support expert.
    • Get a call back from the next available expert.

    When support chat became available I was no longer available. Never received a call back.
