Snap Bills

When I snap an invoice it does not pick up the invoice #.  Is there a way to set this up so that you do not have to type the invoice number in after you upload it?

Uploading bills by capturing an image is indeed a highly efficient feature that can save you considerable time, Sjacobs2.

However, it will only copy and utilize certain details from the image when saving the bill. These details include:

  • Vendor
  • Bill date
  • Due date
  • Amount

For now, the invoice or bill number is not automatically populated. However, you can manually enter the transaction number in the Ref. No. field when saving the bill.

I'd also encourage you to submit feedback or a feature request about this. Specifically, you can suggest to include more details during the automatic capture. If you're interested in doing so, here's how you can go about it:

  1. Go to the Help menu and select Send Feedback Online
  2. Click Product Suggestion.
  3. Type in your suggestions or feedback.
  4. Click Send Feedback.

Customer suggestions influence future updates and can potentially make this feature even more comprehensive and user-friendly.
