Question

So if I was paid for an invoice, but I'm not approved for the QB checking account. How do I get the payment to my account and what about future payments

Thanks for posting in the Community, Maye.

There's nothing to worry about when your QuickBooks Checking account is not approved. You'll still be able to receive the funds through your QuickBooks Payment's designated account. Moreover, it will also depend on your deposit speed.

Here's how:

In QuickBooks Online:

  1. Go to Settings and select Account and settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. Review the Deposit Speed section.

In the Merchant Service Center

  1. Go to Settings, then select Account and settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab and then select Manage Account. The Merchant Service Center opens. Note: You can also sign in to the Merchant Center.
  3. Go to Activity Reports, then Transactions.

In connection to checking deposit speed, you'll also want to check this article to understand and learn how to check when QuickBooks deposits customer payments into your bank account: Find out when QuickBooks Payments deposits customer payments.

Additionally, I've included this article and understand how to find out why your funds are on hold: Why are my funds on hold?
