Spreadsheet Sync - Keeps Logging Out

Hello,

I am loving the Spreadsheet Sync but am having to sign in if I close Excel. It seems to stay logged in as long as Excel is open, but if I ever exit and re-open Excel I have to log in again. Is this expected behavior? Is there any way to have it stay logged in for a longer period of time?

Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback, pflores. I will provide you with detailed information on why you’re being asked to log in again after closing Excel.

Spreadsheet Sync is an add-in feature installed to enhance data integration between QuickBooks Online and Excel. Thus, when you exit the application, you need to log in again to start a new Excel session.

Moreover, please know that there is no direct means of prolonging the login session once Excel has been closed. This security measure is meant to protect your QuickBooks data and the reports you export to Excel.

To avoid this, I suggest keeping Excel open while using

this feature.  This way, you can seamlessly facilitate data transfer between QuickBooks and Excel spreadsheets.
