Square deposits into QBO

Correction to question below: Square sales are not splitting into individual accounts as they have been prior to September 1st. It is NOT splitting out Sales Tax, Tips and is not putting the sales into the proper sales account. Can someone please help me to get this corrected?

Since these transactions were being categorized automatically, it's possible you were using your bank rules feature to automate their categorization.

If so, you'll want to confirm you have your auto-add feature set up for the rule(s).

Here's how:
 

1. Create a new bank rule.
2. Turn on its Auto-add option, under Automatically confirm transactions this rule applies to in your Rules window. If it's already active, you can leave it as is.
3. Select Save if changes were made.

In the event your rules still aren't being applied, it might be because you're using a rule based on bank text when you meant to make a rule based on description, or vice versa.

For example:
 

• Bank text is the exact same information Intuit receives from your bank. The bank text is your transaction you'd see listed in the bank account or on your statement.
• Descriptions are a simplified version of the bank text, to make it easier to understand.

By default, QuickBooks shows your description in the list of transactions:
 

1. In your left navigation bar, go to Transactions, then Bank transactions.
2. Use the Gear icon on the Bank transactions screen.
3. Select Show bank details.
