I know a couple of troubleshooting steps to help you see the expense items appear in your register and get your work done in no time, gwessner.

I've replicated your concern and saw the expense transactions on my bank register. I've also checked our records and found no reported cases similar to yours.

Let's make sure to open the correct bank account and review its filter so all the expense items will show in your register. You can also check your Audit log to see who changed your books and what they did. If it's deleted, you can recreate it again by following these steps: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.

However, if you are still unable to view your expense transactions, let's perform some troubleshooting steps below to investigate this odd behavior. Login to your QuickBooks Online account using an incognito or private browser. If you're seeing the expenses, go back to your main browser, and clear the cache. Clearing them resolves certain issues, such as issues on websites.

Alternatively, you can use a different web browser like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox.

Please let us know the outcome of this troubleshooting or if you have any questions about managing your expenses. I would like to ensure that this issue is resolved for you. Take good care.
