I have some troubleshooting steps to help you fix the issue and make the company contact appear on your invoices, Kristi.

To ensure that we're on the same page, can you tell me if you're using the new invoice layout? If so, then the Company contact will usually show up when you open your invoice as it's already set as default.

Since it's not populating on your end, make sure that there's a contact entered on your company. To check, go to the Gear icon and select Account and Settings. From the Company section, go to the Contact info and check if you entered the necessary details.

Once verified but still won't appear on the invoice, I recommend logging into your QuickBooks account using a private (incognito) window. Doing so will help us determine if this is a browser-related issue. To save time, use these keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

After logging in, open an invoice again and see if the company contact populates. If it does, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Otherwise, use other supported browsers to help narrow down the cause of this behavior.

Once everything's fine, here's an article that can guide you in case you want to personalize and add specific info to your sales forms: Customize invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.
