Hello, Melissa7976. We'll work on getting the rate and quantity to show up when printing the invoice.

If you are experiencing missing information on your invoice when printing, it could be because of the settings in your invoice template. One possible reason could be that the missing information fields have not yet been included in the template. Therefore, I recommend checking the template settings to ensure all the necessary information is included and formatted correctly.

Let's start by reviewing the list of fields in the template and comparing it against the information missing on the printed invoice. It's possible that some fields may have been excluded or that their formatting is incorrect, causing the data not to display correctly.

Here's how to check the template setting of your invoice:

  1. Click the Gear icon. Choose Custom Form Styles.
  2. Locate the Default invoice template.
  3. Tap the Edit under Action.
  4. Under Content, click on the template.
  5. Under Columns, make sure you mark check the Quantity and Rate.
  6. Press Done.

I found an article that may be helpful for you. It's about customizing invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QBO. You can refer to this article, "How to Customize Invoices, Estimates, and Sales Receipts," to learn more.

However, if the issue persists after checking the template format, open your QBO using a private browser or incognito. It could have something to do with temporary internet files, which may cause the missing rate and quantity not to be printed when creating the invoice. Browsing applications store these types of records, but sometimes, they can cause issues with certain web pages.

Use these keyboard shortcuts to start an incognito or private browsing session:

  • Ctrl + Shift + N for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Firefox
  • Control + Option +P if you're using Safari
  • Ctrl + Shift + P for Microsoft Edge

Once done, log back in, navigate to your invoice, and verify if the rate and quantity appear when printing the invoice. Return to the regular browsing session and delete your temporary internet files if they show up. Here's an article as a guide: Clear Cache And Cookies To Fix Issues Using QuickBooks Online. Or you can use a different browser for a better browser experience.
