Time and date status on excel export

Hello.  Can someone advise whereabout to turn on the time and date feature on the top right corner of an excel report that is exported from Quickbooks?  The same report reflects time and date status when it is in Quickbooks but not when exported.  Thank you.

I've got your back to ensure that the time and date of the report will reflect when exported to an Excel file, @Elaine C.

We can use the Advanced feature when trying to export a statement. This way, the report header will appear in your Excel data.

Here's how:

  1. Open the report.
  2. Choose the Excel drop-down and select Create New Worksheet.
  3. Click the Advanced button.
  4. Enable the button next to the On printed report and screen.
  5. Lastly, click OK.

In addition to that, let me share these links to help you manage your reports in QuickBooks Desktop:

Keep in touch if you need additional help handling various statements in QuickBooks. I'm always around to assist you. Have a great day!

If visible on your report in QuickBooks, the date and time are always sent to Excel, either in the page header area or on the worksheet itself, depending report header setting.

If your goal is to be sure this data is included in the report spreadsheet file or to see it when printing the report, either option will work.
