Transaction List Reports - Filter by CLASS?

In QBO, there are some reports we can run to view a list of your invoices with a class column. These include the Transaction Detail by Account and Sales by Class Detail. Let me show you how:

1. Go to the Reports menu.
2. In the search field, you can enter and click on Transaction Detail by Account.
3. Select the date range from the Report period and correct Accounting method.
4. In the upper-right corner, click Customize button.
5. Tap the Change columns link, then place a checkmark next to the Class column.
6. Scroll down, then click the Filter drop-down.
7. From the Transaction Type drop-down, place a checkmark next to Invoices.
   
8. Choose Run report.

However, there's no possible option if you want to add a class column specifically to a transaction list report in QBO. That said, I recommend sending feedback or feature requests to our developers so they can review your suggestions and make some necessary adjustments in the next update.

Additionally, before exporting your reports to Excel, you'll want to personalize the appearance and layout of your class reports so you can add the info that matters most to your business.
