It's good to have you here, @Mir7.

Let's ensure you fix the invoice form when you click the print and download button.

Before anything else, I'd like to see your invoice format by sharing a screenshot to see if the issue is rooted there.

In the meantime, we can perform some basic printing troubleshooting steps. First off, ensure you can print a local PDF document. Here's how:

  1. If you have a saved PDF document on your hard drive, access it within Acrobat/Reader from the File menu and test it to ensure you can print it. If you don't have one, utilize the Windows Search and look for all the files and folders using *.pdf.
  2. Choose one below if you're unable to print a local PDF file:
    - Ensure to update or repair your Adobe by clicking this article: Updating, repairing or reinstalling Adobe Reader and follow the steps, then return to this page and begin.
    - If your Adobe is updated and repaired, continue the process here.
    - If you already performed all the steps here, utilize this link for further troubleshooting: Troubleshooting printing in Windows.

Check out this article for detailed steps: Fix QuickBooks Online printing issues on browsers for Windows.

Also, to identify if this is a browser-related concern, we can access your account via a private browser. This will not store cache files that cause odd behaviors when using web-based programs. Check out these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N

Try to click the print and download button on your invoice. If this works, clear the cache of your regular browser to eliminate piled-up data. If the issue persists, you can use another supported browser or device. It might be that the current one you're using has a temporary issue with the program.

If you want to have a quick and easy way to ensure your customer opens the invoice, you can read this article: Customizing Invoices Within QuickBooks Online.

Leave a reply below if you have additional questions about printing your invoices. I'll be willing to lend a hand. Keep safe, and have a good day.

By changing the font Helvitica to font Avenue under Moderna invoice template II was able to fix the glitch. Never had this problem w/ Helvitica (used it for years) changing the spacing on my invoice forms til today…strange. Miriam
