Trying to do a credit application through QuickBooks online and my personal name field is coming up as company name. Where/how in QuickBooks can this be changed?

The name field name is editable, David. Let me outline the steps to update the business information in your account.

Please note that you'll need to log in to your account in the web version to make the changes and not in the app. To begin, log in to your account here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/.

Then, go to the Account and settings section to edit the company name. Follow these steps on how to do it:

1. Go to the Settings or Gear icon and select Account and settings.
2. Proceed to the Company section, then click the ✎ Edit icon in the Company name section.
3. Update the details.
4. Click Save, then choose Done.

For QuickBooks Payments, you can log in to your merchant account and update the information from there. Here's how:

1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Payments account.
2. Click the drop-down list for Account, then choose Account Profile.
3. Go to the Account Holder/Business Information section, then select Edit.
4. Change your business info as you need to, then select Submit.
