Unable to change date while entering customer invoice

Hi to All

 

I am using QB Desktop for Mac, tried to enter customer / client invoice and tried to change date to March 22, 2024, but QB is picking up today's date i.e. Apr 16, 2024, Tried to change setting in Apple Setting Menu but still no success, if any one can assist me

Thanks for reaching out to the Community, Qadriin.
 

Since you're unable to change your invoice date while creating the sales form, I'd recommend troubleshooting with your Verify and Rebuild utilities.
 

Here's how:
 

  1. In the top menu bar, go to File, then Utilities.
  2. Choose Verify Data, then click OK to close all windows.
  3. If you see a "Your data has failed the integrity check" message, you'll need to rebuild your file. If there's no problems with the data, you're finished.
  4. Go to File, then Utilities again.
  5. Pick Rebuild Data and press OK to close all windows.
  6. QuickBooks will ask you to create a backup before rebuilding your company file. Hit OK or Cancel.
  7. When the rebuild finishes, select OK.

 

If it continues occurring, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Customer Care team. They'll be able to pull up your account in a secure environment, conduct further research with you, and create an investigation ticket if necessary.
