Unable to email invoices to customers

We have been unable to email invoices to customers since the first day of using QBOL

To clarify, are you receiving an error message when trying send an email or are you even given the option to email the invoice?

Message is quickbooks can't complete the current action due to a missing component.  I've tried the print and pdf repair tool, but that didn't work.

Before we start, can you tell us the specific error you're getting when sending email invoices to your clients? 

 

If not, we'd be happy to hear more about it from you. This will help us in providing you with the appropriate steps to fix the problem. 

 

In the meantime, try sending the transaction using a private window. This way, we can check if the problem is related to a cache issue. Simply press these shortcut keys to access this mode.

 

  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

 

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. If you continue to experience the same results, try using another supported browser

If you've tried the steps my colleagues provided and they didn't work, I recommend contacting our Customer Support Team for further assistance. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to the Help menu. 
  2. Press the QuickBooks Desktop Help option. 
  3. Click the Contact Us button. 
  4. Enter your question and tap Let's talk
  5. Scroll down and choose to Get a callback
