We have tried it on the app and on a laptop, no matter what code we put in it keeps saying it is wrong.

We appreciate you for getting in touch with the Community, FairyTailGroomin, and Lolo8.

I can see that you both are experiencing a bank connection issue in QuickBooks Online (QBO). I'd be glad to discuss with you the troubleshooting steps in detail.

Before we begin, can you help me verify the error code for the failed attempt to connect with your banks?

Sometimes, cached data can cause unexpected behavior with the product. To ensure a smoother experience when dealing with browser-related issues, I recommend using a private browser to help isolate unexpected errors in QuickBooks.

You may use these shortcuts to enter private browsing mode:

  • Safari: CommandOptionP
  • Google Chrome: CtrlShiftN
  • Firefox or Internet Explorer: CtrlShiftP

In addition to this, consider clearing Intuit-specific cookies by simply clearing your browser cache. This action can help reset website settings that could be the cause of problems while using QuickBooks.

If the issue persists, you can manually upload bank transactions in QuickBooks Online as an alternative. Review the format of the CSV files you got from your bank to upload transactions to QuickBooks.

Moreover, you may check out this link for additional guidance while reviewing your downloaded bank and credit card transactions in our system: Categorize online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

If you have any further questions about other online banking-related concerns in QuickBooks Online, please feel free to reach out. I'll be here to help. Have a great day!
