We are just starting quickbooks online from quickbooks desktop. I have set up my email but I put in the wrong telephone number

Welcome to the Community, Pam. Let me guide you on how to change your telephone number. 

If the number that you want to change is your personal phone number, Kindly follow these steps: 

1. Go to your Profile icon located at the top right corner next to the Gear icon. 
2. Click Manage your Intuit Account.
3. In the Intuit account, select Sign in & security.
4. Press the Phone tab. 
5. Click the Change option located next to your phone number. You'll be asked to verify your identity before making a change in your number.
6. Select Text a code. You'll shortly receive a text message from QuickBooks.
7. Enter that code in the Verification code field.

8. Click Continue. 

However, if the number that you want to make changes is your business number, please follow these steps: 

1. Click the Gear icon located at the top right of your screen.
2. Press Your Company, and then choose Account and Settings.
3. Under the Company menu, edit the Contact Info by clicking the pencil icon. 
4. Enter your Company phone number in the Company phone field. 
5. Click Save. 
6. Once you're done, you can click Done so that the changes that the system will be able to save the changes you've make.
