Question

We can no longer search for a customer on the qb app by using anything other than a name. Previously we were able to look up a customer via address, phone or note.

I see you want to search for a customer on the QBO app by using via address, phone, or note, and there appears to be an issue with the QuickBooks Online app's search functionality. Based on my test on the mobile app, it seems to be working fine. Here are a couple of suggestions to try and get the app working for you:

  1. Log out of the app and ensure it is updated to avoid interruptions.
  2. Refresh the app using the Refresh Data option from the Help menu to download updates or apply recent changes.
  3. If refreshing the app doesn't work, try uninstalling and reinstalling it to resolve any unexpected behavior. Also, make sure to download any updated security settings.

For detailed information, refer to this article: See your latest data in the QuickBooks Online app.

Moreover, here's how to download the mobile app, you can visit the following links:

I hope these steps help resolve the issue. Let me know if you need further assistance. I'll always be around to help you in any possible way. That's it for now. Stay safe!

None of these suggestions work.  On multiple phones also.  After doing a bit of Googleing, this seems to be a problem others are facing.

Example,  I want to look a customer up by phone number.  As soon as any numeric is entered,  quickbooks shows "No search results to display"
