Question

What can be done to fix the issue where the mobile app crashes every time I try to add a product/service to an estimate? Anyone else have this problem?

I lose all progress on the estimate when this happens. Makes it impossible to send quotes while out in the field

It appears that your experience with the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app didn't meet your expectations, bennettlandscape1. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Resolving this matter promptly is important to us.

For most general issues with the QBO app, clearing the app's cache can help resolve them. This process removes historical data and allows you to access QuickBooks with a clean slate.

To get started, let's refresh your data to ensure you have the latest information in your QBO app and resolve any unexpected behavior.

Here are the steps:

iOS

  1. Go to Settings, then tap General.
  2. Click iPhone Storage, then tap the QuickBooks Self-Employed app.
  3. Select Offload App.

Android

  1. Go to Menu ☰, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Select Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Click YES to confirm.

If the issue persists, you can uninstall and reinstall the Online mobile application. This will free up the storage without deleting your app's documents and data. Otherwise, you can access your QBO using other supported browsers.

Additionally, you can compare mobile app features and see QuickBooks Online access for mobile devices to learn which QuickBooks Online app features are supported on mobile devices.

If you have any further questions or encounter issues related to creating transactions or using the QBO app, please don't hesitate to reach out to us again. I'm always delighted to help.
