In recurring tranactions there used to be options to Pause or Skip.  Those options have disappeared.
 Why?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community, Patti-harrisonla. I can assist you in finding the Pause and Skip options for your recurring invoices.

To navigate through your recurring transactions, we can follow these steps:

  1. On the left panel, select Transactions.
  2. Click the Recurring Transactions page.
  3. Find the recurring transaction you want to modify and then select the dropdown arrow.
  4. Click Skip next date or Pause.

However, if the issue persists even after following the steps above, I suggest we perform basic troubleshooting on your account to check why this is happening. We can review if this is a browser-related issue by opening your account in a private browser as it ignores historical data.

These are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If the error is fixed after this, then the issue is likely caused by your browser. You'll want to clear your regular browser cache. Another option is to use other supported browsers.

I'll also add this helpful resource to learn how to get a list of all your transactions and the accounts they're linked to: Review your recurring transactions in QuickBooks Online
