Yes, you have the option to enter a journal entry for each month. To make this process more efficient, you can create a scheduled recurring journal entry template.
In addition to JE, you can create an e-expense or a check. I also recommend consulting with your accountant to determine the appropriate category for your entries.
Here's how:
Go to the GearIcon.
Under Lists, select Recurring Transactions.
Select New, and find the Journal Entry for transaction type, and click Ok.
Enter a Template name.
Select a Type: Scheduled, Unscheduled, or Reminder.
