Question

When adding a reserve line in the Balance sheet (in chart of accounts) it just spirals for ever (>30 minutes) and won't save. What am I doing wrong?

Adding Expense lines in Chart of accounts has not been a problem.  Just in the Equity part of the Balance Sheet.

Good day, Perry.

Sometimes, too much accumulation of cache can cause unexpected behavior in the program. This can be why you're unable to save your customization in the Balance Sheet.

To fix this, open your account in a private window. Doing this will help us isolate the issue and help you get back to business. You can press the following shortcut keys to access this mode:

  •  Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

If it works, return to your regular browser and clear its cache. This action will remove temporary files stored on your browser and free up space on your device. If the issue persists, consider using other supported browsers.

After adding the reserve line to the Balance Sheet, you can memorize it to save its customization and use it in the future.
