Adding the correct labor hours to an invoice is essential to bill your customer accurately, Susan. I'm here to provide the cause of why this issue occurs on your end.

I've checked our system and found out that there's an ongoing investigation (INV-106738) regarding the issue you reported about the billable time not appearing when selecting the client on the Invoice page.

At the moment, our engineering team is already taking a look at this to determine what's causing the missing pop-up labor hours. Rest assured that you'll be notified once this is resolved.

For us to do that, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Support Team so they can add you to the list of affected users. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Help menu and then select the Assistant tab.
  2. Enter Contact Support in the chat box and press Enter.
  3. Select QuickBooks Online Support, then click Contact Us at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Click Ask about something else, then enter a short description of your concern or provide INV-106738 as a reference.
  5. Choose between Have us call you or Chat.

In the meantime, I suggest manually entering the time when creating an invoice instead of using the Time entry feature.
