When do I get the new layout for estimates?

You'll be able to use the new estimate layout automatically once our update occurs. No additional steps will be required on your end after Intuit finishes updating.

Here's how you can check if you have the new estimate experience:
 

1. In your left navigation bar, use the + New button.
2. Select Estimate.
3. If you see a message that says "NEW" next to your form's title, you're currently using the new layout.

Once our update finishes, you'll be able to customize estimates you're sending. There will no longer be a need to manage templates, instead, all of your options will be on each form. QuickBooks will memorize the choices you made and apply them to your next estimate.

Customers receiving emailed estimates will be able to review and approve them online. Once they do, you'll receive an alert.

If you'd like to submit feedback about the transition process while our update is in effect, you can do so while signed in:

1. Use the Gear icon, then go to Feedback.
2. Enter your suggestion(s) in the Have feedback? window.
3. If necessary, attach a file with your Camera icon.
4. Select Next.
