When filling out a new invoice, there is no obvious option to add a new project address to an existing customer. Is there one?

I see you have concerns about adding a new project address to an existing customer, and I want to ensure you get the help you need with this in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

To be sure we're on the same page, I'd like to verify if the new project address for the existing customer is their billing or shipping address. If yes, you can follow the steps below to update it in QBO. If not, I would like to ask for extra information like screenshots to help me clarify your concern.


Here's how to update the billing/shipping address:
 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to Sales and click Customers (Take me there).
  3. Enter the name of the customer you want to edit.
  4. Tap Edit.
  5. Under Shipping address uncheck the Same as billing address checkbox.
  6. Enter the Shipping address.
  7. Hit Save.
