Question

When I convert an estimate to a invoice, why do all of the recipients I have listed as CC on the estimate not show up on the invoice?

My client has asked that I copy his bookkeeper on all invoices.  I added the bookkeeper email address as a "cc" on the estimate.  It does not automatically populate when I convert the estimate to an invoice.  What's up?  QBO is dropping it which is frustrating my client who has asked twice for the copy.

Hello, dawn.

When you convert an estimate to an invoice in QuickBooks, the email address you previously entered in the CC field won't be automatically populated in the converted invoice. This means you must manually enter the email address again as a workaround.

To do this, open the converted invoice and enter the email address in the email address field before sending the invoice. By doing so, your customer will receive a copy of the invoice and be kept up-to-date on the status of their transactions.
