Question

When I edit a payment for one customer it always goes back to the original amount. I've uninstalled it several times and it doesn't seem to help

Hi there, Stemple.

I understand the importance of editing your customer's payment in a transaction. I see that you have already tried uninstalling the app multiple times. No worries, I have a workaround to achieve your goal, and I'm here to guide you.

You need to delete the payment transaction and create a new Receive Payment transaction with the correct amount and payment date.

Additionally, you can clear the app's data and cache to ensure everything works properly.

For iOS, here's how:

  1. Go to your phone's settings.
  2. Select General, then choose iPhone Storage.
  3. Tap QuickBooks Online from the application list.
  4. Select Offload App to free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app.

For Android, here's how:

  1. Go to your phone's settings,
  2. Choose Apps (varies by device).
  3. Select QuickBooks Online from the application list.
  4. Go to the Storage section, then tap Clear Data.

You may also want to consider using the receipt snap feature to upload your receipts in QuickBooks using your mobile camera.
