Question

When I increase the logo size of the logo file, it stays the same on the invoice. How do I increase the space allowed for a logo on the invoice, so it will be larger?

Hi there, wendi1.

You can edit the size of the logo in the invoice template. Let me show you where to go:

  1. Go to Gear icon and click Custom Form Styles.
  2. Look for the template and click Edit.
  3. Under the Design tab, click Make logo edits.
  4. Under Size, select either M or L to change the size of the logo.
  5. Click Done.

Here's an article that talks about customizing logo on your sales forms: How To Add, Customise, And Troubleshoot Logo On Sales Forms.

You can always reply to this thread if you have follow-up questions.

I have the same problem! First, whatever I tried medium or large size, It's look smaller when I look at the preview. I think there are a problem too for the space between each line of text for the address. I used the classic model with logo at the left corner.

Thanks for help!

Welcome to the Community space, @JamieCC1.

Your logo is an essential element in establishing your company's brand and personality. In QuickBooks Online (QBO), you can add a logo and customize it so it will look better.

Here are the specific logo requirements:

  • a .gif, .bmp, .png, .jpg, .jpe, or .jpeg file
  • smaller than 10 MB
  • 24-bits or less in bit depth (or color depth)
  • square-shaped since rectangles don't work
  • using the standard RGB color space
  • convert to an RGB image using tools (such as Adobe Photoshop) if your logo is CMKY-formatted.

If you choose to resize the logo to Small, Medium, or Large, please note that the height and width of the logo will remain fixed and cannot be further changed.

Once you ensure that your logo meets the requirements mentioned above, you can upload it to QBO. To add and make your logo larger, you can follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings, then select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Click the Standard to edit.
  3. Go to the Design tab, then select Add your unique logo
  4. Click Save, then adjust the size and placement of your logo as desired.
  5. Once you've made the changes, select Done

Now, you can print and email your invoices. To learn more, check out this article: Email or print multiple sales forms.

Just to let everyone know, I FINALLY figured out a fix to this issue!! I used Illustrator for this so my instructions will be for someone using Illustrator. Hopefully you can figure out how to make the necessary adjustments for the program you are using.

  1. Go to "New File"
  2. Width > 184 px
  3. Height > 80 px
  4. Color Mode > RGB Color
  5. Raster Effects > High (300 ppi)
  6. Click "Create"
  7. Add your logo to the Artboard
  8. Then go to "File > Export > Export As > Save as type: JPEG

I sincerely hope this helps someone because it was very frustrating for me while trying to figure out!
