If you're using the QuickBooks Online mobile app, you'll have to close and restart the app first. If the same thing happens, I recommend clearing the app data. This process serves a similar function to clearing the cache and cookies from your web browser.
Here's how:
Go to your device Settings.
Click Apps (varies by device).
Select the QuickBooks app from the list.
Press Storage.
Click Clear data.
After these steps, restart your phone and open the QuickBooks app to see if you can now upload your receipt.
