When looking at this quarter to date information we have a big service profit but we haven't logged in anything categorized as services. Where is that number coming from?

Thanks for posting in this forum. Allow me to address your concern about your service transaction in QuickBooks Online (QBO) reflecting a big profit.

Before that, we'd like to know more about the type of transaction you're referring to. To do that, you can run a report and click on the amount to open the entry details. Doing so can help us diagnose the issue and provide you with a more appropriate response.

We can also utilize the audit log to check who entered the service transaction and who made changes to your records. To do that:

1. Go to the Gear icon and select Audit Log.
2. Click Filter.
3. Utilize the fields on the Filter panel to narrow the results.
4. Select Apply.

Additionally, you'll be interested in importing a list of your products and services from Excel, CSV, or Google Sheets into QBO to save time when entering them into the system.
