I want to ensure this is taken care of, rachel.

Let's ensure the mobile app syncs correctly with your computer's latest data, as delays or failures in syncing can cause discrepancies.

Then, refresh the app to fix some issues. You can follow the steps below depending on your phone's operating system.

For the IOS version:

  1. Go to the Menu icon and tap Help & Feedback.
  2. Select Refresh Data.
  3. If you get a prompt message, "Caution. If there was a problem getting your latest QuickBooks Online data, you can refresh it now. It may take a few minutes."
  4. Tap Refresh to confirm.

For Android:

  1. Go to the Menu icon, then tap More Options ⋮.
  2. Click Settings, then Refresh Data.
  3. Select YES to confirm.

If you get the same result, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

In the meantime, you may want to create and manage invoices using a web browser.

Additionally, you can check this article to learn more about progress invoicing in QuickBooks, read this article: Set up and send progress invoices.

Once your customer pays their invoice, you can refer to this link to record it in the system: Record invoice payments.
